From time to time I'll post some of my currents thots... on just about anything. Check in from time to time cos I'm never sure when I'll update it. Not a blog, just things that have been on my mind.
Stupid things that bother me... Why is it that people absolutely insist on breaking large bills for change at the wrong places and at the the wrong times? Better yet, what makes people think that "merchants" double as banks? Perhaps we should ask, why is it that banks stopped making change, except for *ahem* loyal customers? Case in point, 3 am and somebody absolutely must buy a 30 cent pack of gum and try to use a fifty dollar bill to pay for it? Hasn't it occured to anybody that at that time of nite cash on hand is kept at a minimum to deter robberies? It's assholes like that, that give robbers the idea that we carry lots of cash in the first place. Worst yet, is the arrogance in believing that your petty needs outweigh anything else. They just have to have 20's a 10 a five and some ones for whatever purpose... other than spending it where they insist on getting the change. Okay, and this is another rat here, maybe folks can't "do the math" and it's just a heck of alot easier to pay for anything with 20's... because they can't figure out to the nearest amount and pay with an appropriate bill. It must be too confusing for people who were born here, to figure out 1's 5's & 10's and then to pay to the closest dollar amount. I can understand & forgive foriegners - and I'll bend over backwards to help them. But Americans??? Supposed high school grads? If you can't figure out your own money, you shouldn't have it.
